After practically a four month hiatus, I finally had something worthwhile to write about once my 2007 Xmas Party came to a close last night.  When the planning for the Xmas party began, I was hoping that I would be able to get 30-40 people to attend but still was not even sure that I could persuade that many to come.  Well lone and behold everyone came through in a big way, so big that over 140 people celebrated Xmas a little early with me at the Garden City Club Osaka.  Conveniently located, I do not think that there are too many other comparable venues that could have lived up to the service and the class that the Garden City Club showed last night. 

 

To put my guests in a festive mood, yours truly dressed up as Santa with a few santa girls in tow to make this party as special as could be.  After the 2.5 hour party had come to a close at 10:30 p.m., we basically had to "kick" everyone out of the joint as the staff needed to clean up before the entire building shut down. 

 

To get a little insight as to what the party was like, take a look at the pictures I have uploaded to my photo album.  Based on the success of this party, I do hope to plan several other events for 2008.  Let's hope the momentum built from this event will carry over into next year!
