To close out my last outdoor party of the year, once again I was blessed with perfect weather for my End of Summer Ocean Bash at the Terrace of Kobe Pacific located along the ocean in the port of Kobe on September 14.  When all was said and done, around 150 people came out to enjoy the cool evening weather along the coastline among food and drinks.

As part of the evening's entertainment, my friend Brent played a few songs solo on the guitar and then was joined by Cristian for a La Bamba duet to get the party started.  Half-way through the evening, a group from a local theater troupe acted out a few scenes from the Japanese play "Sayuki" outside to give my guests a little intermission from their mingling with one another.

I really have to hand it to the staff at the Terrace of the Kobe Pacific.  They did a great job and made this party truly memorable for those in attendance.

I know this is a little late but...on August 23, there was a first for Justin's party.  Together with several others event organizers in Kansai, Justin held a collaboration party at the host club Clover in Osaka. With three others groups joining forces, more than 340 people came out to Clover for a massive party.  With DJs playing throughout the entire show and hair and nail salon booths on hand to showcase their services, there was definitely something for everyone to enjoy the night. 

Just to let you know for those of you who are unfamiliar with a host club, it is a club that has an all male staff and caters to women clients as a social scene for after working hours.  Normally how the host club system works is that there is an entrance fee followed by an hourly fee to have casual conversation with 20-something males over drinks and food.
